Jeanne Atkin, M.S., L.Ac. received a masterʼs degree in traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in NYC. She is a licensed acupuncturist and board certified Chinese herbalist.
Post graduate studies include a two year program at Zheng Gu Tui Na in the study of Chinese orthopedic massage, Qi Gong rehabilitative exercises, and “die da” (hit fall) medicine for traumatic and chronic injuries. She assisted Frank Butler and Tom Bisio, the founders of Zheng Gu Tui Na from 2004-2009 in their clinics in New York City.
Additional post graduate education includes certification from Memorial Sloan Ketteringʼs Integrative Cancer Center in the complimentary treatment of cancer patients.
She practices the full spectrum of Chinese medicine incorporating acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Tui Na (orthopedic massage), Qi Gong rehabilitative exercises, dietary and lifestyle recommendations into each treatment.
She has recently joined with Friends of Fort Tryon Park in sponsoring a free weekly Qi Gong class. Led by Marcus DeGrazia, the class meets every Monday from 6:30-7:30 pm from June through August on Linden Terrace in Fort Tryon Park.
